We’ve been working pretty hard on optimizing a new website and new domain, Tradebay.se. The page itself contains many different categories for people to buy and sell in, so it’s pretty dynamic in that sense. As part of our SEO strategy we want to increase the page rank of many different sub pages and sub-categories of Tradebay so the domain’s overall page rank can also increase. It’s also allows us to compete on many different keywords for all our categories to hopefully accumilate traffic from a wide range of niches.

One particular category which is also very competitive is for the Car category. Many established sites are already competing on the best keywords so we had to be a little smart in which keywords we used. We decided to use phases that we have a better chance at ranking more highly on such as “car classifieds” and “buy and sell used cars”. The volume of searches done on these isn’t extremely high, but atleast we can rank highly on them and start getting targeted traffic. We changed Titles, headers, keywords, and even the url so it is all SEO friendly and competing on the keywords we want to.
