We’ve been working hard on optimizing a few sites and came across some very effective tools that will help you get the job done and get a competitive advantage over your competition.
The first tool we’ve been using is the Search Engine Ranking Tool by Advanced Web Ranking. It helps with the initial and continuous keyword research to help your customers find your site. After all, you need to know what words people are searching on google so you know what keywords to use in order for them to find your site. It’s also a nifty tool to check what keywords your competition is targeting to help you get a competitive analysis and advantage. This tool is also designed to keep track of your search engine rankings on all your keywords across all of the major search engines – both local and international. It would be very time consuming to check ALL your keywords on ALL the search engines daily just to see how your ranking. This helps save a lot of time, and packages it all together in one easy to use report that lets you see all the data in one place.
Advanced Web Rankings also helps with a lot of other important SEO tasks to help people find your site. The tool guides you through the process of submitting your website to over 400 search engines to help promote your site across all platforms. This tool also helps you find quality and relevant link partners to help you get more traffic to your site. It will discover potential partners automatically by scanning web links that are related to your keywords.
I would say without a doubt that the Advanced Web Rankings tool is the most complete search engine visibility software available.
The second tool we’ve been using is the Advanced Link Manager which helps managing all of your links. Ever curious to know who’s linking to you? How they’re linking to you? The anchor text being used? The link popularity? Or even perhaps who’s linking to your competition? Well, this tool helps you identify all of these plus more.
You can run quick reports too see all of your back links and what pages they’re on. You can also see the anchor text being used which will help with your keyword analysis and rankings. I think the best part of this tool is that you can spy on your competition. Sometimes I wonder how the heck a particular site is outranking me on some keywords, and usually it’s back link related. This tool will let you see where your competitors are being linked, so you can go and link from the same site as well and take that advantage away from them. We’ve done this quite a bit and got links from all of the places our competition was on, and in no time we started to out rank them. That was our basic strategy: have links where our competition does plus our own on other sites and voi la! Top rankings in no time. I recommend that Advanced Link Manager be part of all SEO professionals tools.

webb tv, a streaming site for television shows in Sweden, has sky rocketed to the top of the SERP’s in less than a month after launching. It currently ranks #2 on google for the term “webb tv” which has thousands of searches done on this phrase daily. The SEO success of this page can be attributed to a few things in particular:
1) The actual domain of the site webbtv.se, will obviously rank highly for the search term “webb tv”
2) Has been acquimilating in-links to the page from many high PR sites for a year or so.
3) The site has been receiving nice links naturally from bloggers and social media since its launch.
4) The on-page optimization is superb
With all the link work that is still being put into this site, it should rank #1 in no time. The next step will be to try ranking #1 on other search terms as well that aren’t as popular. We will keep you posted on it’s progress.
Successful CPA campaign for Expekt Poker

It is with outstanding pleasure to announce our successful partnership with Expekt in our CPA program.
We were able to analyze their business model and then identify their core target market. From there we set up a CPA campaign with them, confident that we could target their core audience and also get a positive response from them – the sale.
In the month of October alone, we were able to acquire almost 300 depositing players for Expekt Poker.
The success in acquiring customers for Expekt can be attributed to taking the time to analyze their product before hand and identifying who their customers are. From there, it was a matter of developing a good strategy to not only reach these customers – but to convince them make an action.

We’ve been working pretty hard on optimizing a new website and new domain, Tradebay.se. The page itself contains many different categories for people to buy and sell in, so it’s pretty dynamic in that sense. As part of our SEO strategy we want to increase the page rank of many different sub pages and sub-categories of Tradebay so the domain’s overall page rank can also increase. It’s also allows us to compete on many different keywords for all our categories to hopefully accumilate traffic from a wide range of niches.
One particular category which is also very competitive is for the Car category. Many established sites are already competing on the best keywords so we had to be a little smart in which keywords we used. We decided to use phases that we have a better chance at ranking more highly on such as “car classifieds” and “buy and sell used cars”. The volume of searches done on these isn’t extremely high, but atleast we can rank highly on them and start getting targeted traffic. We changed Titles, headers, keywords, and even the url so it is all SEO friendly and competing on the keywords we want to. How To Make Money Using Twitter

Twitter is a social networking platform that lets people share ideas and information with each other using a micro-blog platform. Basically you can only write one or two sentences and share it with your followers. Even though Twitter is immensely popular, it’s still relatively new and a gold mine for any type of internet marketer or online entrepreneur.
The Method
There are several ways to do this, but I’ll outline the one which I feel is the most effective.
- Find affiliate programs with high revenue. CPA works best, but depending on the amount of followers you have you can opt to have CPC as well.
- Create a twitter profile relevant to the affiliate programs you joined.
- Post tweets with affiliate URL’s
- Post normal tweets with news relevant to your niche so it’s not so spammy with affiliate URL’s
- Buy and Auto-follower and let the program accumulate followers for you.
This is a very simple method but can be highly effective. It’s also very easy to do and not time consuming at all so the money generated from this can be worth your time. Remember not to make your tweets too spammy with affiliate URL’s as people will catch on and stop following you. Happy Tweeting!
Social Media Marketing – What’s the hype?

Firstly, I think it’s important to point out that social media are websites or platforms where people connect with other people. It’s really that simple.
There is now a hype surrounding social media marketing and everybody is trying to get on board. Companies have shrunk their budget and are looking on focusing on the cheaper social media marketing. Is social media marketing more effective than any of the other established methods of internet marketing? No one really knows yet. Here are the things that social media can do for you though:
1) Build a Brand – It lets you connect with individuals all day every day that may be interested in your company/website. You can share interesting info/content to targeted people more and more so you build your name, image, and reputation.
2) Create Buzz – With interesting content and connecting with relevant or interested people, you can people to talk and make your company go viral.
3) Connect with customers like never before – Show another side to your business and connect on a more personal level. Build a rapport with your customers and get good feedback from them.
4) Control the message you want to send out, no mass media skewing or 3rd parties distorting the message. You have the ability to communicate on a 1-on-1 basis.
5) No cost really involved. Sure, it can be time consuming but worth every minute.
6) Brand awareness can mean sales down the road through other channels.
So in my humble opinion social media marketing does work and is very important in your overall marketing strategy. Should it be your only source or marketing channel? No. But tying it in with SEO, search engine marketing, banner advertising, video advertising, forums, and other tactics is important and can be very effective.
The forecast for advertising worldwide is a gloomy one but good news for online advertising

Worldwide advertising spending is expected to fall by 6.9% this year to $453bn (£304bn) this year.
The decline has been put down to the current economic problems, which it said had both hit corporate confidence and put consumers off making major buys.
newspapers are expected suffer most, with advertising revenues down 12%, as people turned to the internet.
The internet would be the only medium to attract higher advertising spending.
It’s predicted that television would boost its proportion of advertising budgets to 38.6% from 38.1%, but the total spent on TV advertising would fall by 5.5%.
It’s also predicted that spending on internet advertising is set to rise 8.6% as shoppers hunt online bargains.
Earlier this month online monitoring firm Hitwise found that visits to classified advertising websites were booming, with visits to such sites in the US up 84% on the same time last year.
Newspapers have been particularly hit by the downturn, from smaller titles in the UK to large papers in the US.
In February, Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation announced a $6.4bn quarterly loss, as falling advertising revenues forced it to cut $8.4bn from the value of assets.
